Well the holiday weekend is officially over. I always get a little sad after holiday weekends. Even though I have the privilege of staying home with Sarah, I get so used to having Micheal home for a few days and so its a bummer when he has to go back to work. We have so much fun taking care of Sarah together and listening to her talk to us. But it is also nice to get back into our routine. Sarah really is just so much more relaxed when we are at home so needless to say this weekend was a little exhausting since we were pretty much out of the house all weekend. But it was so nice to see family.
Like I mentioned in my last post we went to Nanny and Pappy's house yesterday for a cookout and to just be together for the 4th. Springlake has a neat parade so after we got everything started for supper we decided to walk down the street and watch the parade. We decided to leave Sarah with Poppy since it was going to be loud and she needed to take a nap anyway. It was a really neat parade and Kaleb and Jaxon got TONS of candy! Like 2 Walmart sacks full! We ended up taking one of the sacks home to use at youth for prizes...giving us a bag of candy was not the boys idea though. :-) I was glad Whitney and her boys got to meet Sarah. We did not know they were going to be there so that was a neat surprise. We got home last night, fed Sarah and went to bed! Exciting life with a 2 month old lol! No fireworks for us! Sarah slept until 7:45 this morning so that was awesome! The last couple of nights she got up at 5 (after sleeping through the night for almost 3 weeks now) so that was kind of rough. Hopefully she is back on track! Fingers crossed and knock on wood.
Today Miss Sarah has an appointment at the chiropractor and that is pretty much it. So we get to have a nice relaxing day at home.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
